Saving Time - the illusion!

You cannot save time!
We often hear the phrases “saving time”, or “time-saving devices”. We also hear that “time flies”, and that “time and tide wait for no one.”.
We cannot save time
The bottom line is that we cannot save time. We can only make good use of the limited time that we have on this earth. We cannot save a second, a minute, or an hour today, store it, and use it next week or at some other time in the future. We must spend each second, each minute, and each hour as it arrives. We only get one shot at it.
We can make the best use of time as it passes
We only get one shot at spending every second, minute, day, and year. We all will have a finite number of seconds, minutes, days, and years to spend. How we spend them is what is important? It doesn’t mean that we have to be “doing something” all the time. Sometimes “doing nothing” is the best thing to do. Our minds, bodies, and souls need rest and relaxation at times. However, we should choose to use our time wisely.
Reflections
Do you use your time wisely?
Are you wasting time?
How can you make better use of your time?
If you contract out some work, or you use a time-saving device, how do you use the time “saved”?
This post is shorter than the others on this site. How will you make use of the time “saved”?
Next month I will reflect on an important use of time that in which we all need to invest.
Conclusion
We have limited time available to us. We must spend it as it arises. We cannot save time. We can only make better use of it. Spend your time wisely!
